I’m a junior at Appalachian State University . where I am the assistant online editor for the university newspaper, The Appalachian – recently coming off of a stint as the sports editor.
Raised a Braves fan, since arriving at Appalachian I have become a huge football fan as well. Baseball will always be my greatest love, but Georgia football pumps my blood too.

I got goosebumps reading your “About Me” because it could have been written by me only about 30 years ago. I wanted to be a sportswriter, loved baseball especially, loved the Braves specifically. However, I gave in to pressure from family to change my major to something “more practical”. Admittedly it would have been a whole lot harder to be a female sports journalist then than it is now, but I will always regret not giving it a try. You are about the age of my 3 kids, and I’ll tell you what I tell them — GO FOR IT!!!

What up Ashley. This is pretty crazy. I actually typed in appalachian state in google-images to get a picture for a PWT and ended up here of all places . What a small world it is (or internet world or somethin lol). Hope hell week is over for ya. Have a ya good one!
